SAN ANGEL MEXICO CITY – MUMMIES and INCREDIBLE TACOS! | MUSEO DE EL CARMEN *Tradducion en Espanol*

0

SAN ANGEL – A former hamlet located close to Coyoacan in the south of Mexico City, San Angel is absolutely a integral part of any Mexico City trip. Colorful, vibrant and full of history, San Angel allows you to experience a difference side to Mexico City.

San Angel is full of mansions dating back to the 1700s, which have now largely been converted into restaurants and art galleries. You can also check out the Saturday Market (El Bazaar del Sabado), yearly flower festival (Feria de las Flores) or head to the Museo de el Carmen, ful of artwork, history and home to a number of well preserved mummies in the crypt.

There are also plenty of other opportunities to eat in San Angel at one of the many markets. But if you’re looing for Things to Do in Mexico City in a relaxed manner, you can simply head to Plaza San Jacinto or take a leisurely walk around the town checking out the coloured buildings and locals.

SAN ANGEL – another example of the awesome variety in Mexico City – check it out!
